The Jim Henson Company Using Nostalgia & Rumors To Garner Interest In Upcoming Projects

Variety Magazine dropped some interesting information on one of the project that the Jim Henson Company has in the pipeline, and it is adding to the furor of 40-plus-year-olds clambering for glimpses of the tween and teen entertainment of their past. The company stated that there is a sequel to 1986’s movie Labyrinth, which stared David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly, in the works. This comes on top of recent news and rumors of the possible production of a Dark Crystal 2 (original released in 1982) and some Fraggle Rock movies (TV originally series running 1983–1987 on cable) .
