Stepmother Admits No Love For Stepchildren


Katrina Simmons has three children, and her fiancé has three children as well. Simmons penned an op-ed for the Daily Mail Online admitting that she is struggling to develop deep connections with her stepchildren, and feels they are the same way as they show her little appreciation and respect. In her writing, she admits to the toil that these feeling are bringing to her both physically and emotionally, but feels she is not an outlier. Simmons thinks that a large number of stepparents and stepchildren have little love for each other, but don’t publicly admit it for a variety of reasons. You can read the full op-ed piece here.
