Red Bull Makers Will Give You $10 Since It Really Can’t Give You Wings

The makers of the Red Bull energy drinks has announced a settlement on settled two class action lawsuits, agreeing to pay $13 million to United States customers. The issue? False allegations from past advertising claims that it ‘gives you wings,’ or allegations to any real benefit from drinking the overly caffeinated beverage. Under the terms of the settlement, people who purchased Red Bull products between Jan. 1, 2002 and Oct. 3, 2014 are eligible to receive either a cash payment of $10, or $15 worth of Red Bull products. And you don’t even have to offer proof of purchase. Anyone wishing to receive a settlement payment can submit a claim form before March 2, 2015 at http://www.energydrinksettlement.com.
