Black Burgers Invade Burger King Japan

The oversees variants of our American (and some kinda-Canadian) restaurant chains seem to have all the fun with food offerings. Burger King Japan is about to unveil the Kuro Burger, an all-black sandwich from bun to bun. The burger has bread and cheese that are blackened by bamboo charcoal and a special sauce made from squid ink. Our Japanese Conversation correspondent can’t wait for this sandwich to hit her local restaurants.

  1. Japanese Conversation Corespondent confirms that the Kuro Burgers are as hideous to look at in real life as we feared. But they were pretty tasty if close your eyes and ignore the whole ‘all-black’ thing.
